Quality System

Corporate governance of JSC "Grodno Tobacco Factory" Neman "(hereinafter the Company) implemented the quality management system (hereinafter QMS) with the aim of introduction of modern methods of management. In 2003 a certificate of compliance with the requirements of STB ISO 9001 was obtained.

The certificate of conformity for a quality management system, development and production of filter and non-filter cigarettes is annually confirmed by the certification body. Certification audit is carried out every three year to obtain a new certificate of compliance management system quality due to the expiration of the previous one.

Re-certification audit of the quality management system was carried out in 2015. As a result there was issued certificate of compliance, that is valid until 2018, certifying that the quality management system for the development and production of cigarettes with filter and non-filter cigarettes corresponds to the requirements of STB ISO 9001-2009.

Implementation of the QMS allowed increase the responsibility of staff, strengthen quality control at every stage of its production, and improve the quality of finished products, to meet targets.

A systematic approach to quality management in the Company is based on the interaction between the Company’s departments acting on the basis of common principles, approaches and procedures for quality issues. This improved monitoring of compliance with production process. Clearly assigned documents defining the level of responsibility and algorithms of actions carried out by the personnel of the Company activities.

Quality assurance of the product is a priority for the Company, and one of the most important direction, that allows create a basis for further development, is the implementation and continuous improvement of the effectiveness of modern management systems.

Identification of hazards and risks and specification of acceptable risk were performed in order to improve the effectiveness of creation a safe working environment. According to the results of the work carried out in year 2010 safety management system was certified in accordance with the STB 18001-2009.

Conducting policy of quality, product liability, work safety defines goals and objectives, solutions, represents the main business lines of the Company's in these areas. It is aimed at ensuring the quality of products, the creation of healthy and safe working conditions.

Based on the principles of quality management, the Company's management determines the policy and objectives in the field of quality, safety and the environment and ensures the achievement of the necessary resources.

Special attention the Company pays to maximizing environmental safety and reduce harmful impact on the environment. Environmental management system was developed and implemented in year 2014, received a certificate of conformity to the requirements of STB ISO 14001-2005.

Company settle its obligations promptly, is a reliable supplier, pay taxes honestly, participate in all social and national programs, provide the necessary sponsor support, concentrating on progressive management.

Systematically organized continuous work on quality improvement, competitiveness, technical modernization of production, improvement of organizational structure, enabled the Company to become the winner of the Grodno Regional Executive Committee Award for achievements in quality in year 2004, 2007 and 2013.

All products have certificates of conformity.

With the aim of constantly striving to improve the quality, work of carrying out the laboratory with modern laboratory equipment and qualified personnel was performed, as a result of this work received the accreditation certificate production control laboratory that meets the requirements of STB ISO IEC 17025.

Successes of collective are performed by results of focused and related activities, understanding and timely implementation of the objectives set by management, shared interest in the success.

In an effort to retain its positions in the domestic market and to strengthen them outside the Republic of Belarus, the factory focuses its activities on the creation of products conforming to international standards, increase production, continuous modernization and improvement of quality.

Accumulated by JSC GTF "Neman" test experience in terms of safety, modernization and commissioning of new production equipment, equipped with modern laboratory equipment, continuous training of personnel, quality management system and quality policy - all this is a guarantee of safety and quality of manufactured products.
