On July 3, a ceremonial rally dedicated to the main national holiday — Independence Day of the Republic of Belarus — was held on Lenin Central Square.

The management, representatives of the workforce, and labor veterans of OJSC “Grodno Tobacco Factory “Neman” honored the memory of the soldiers who gave their lives for the freedom and independence of Belarus by laying flowers at the memorial to Soviet soldiers and partisans.

Honored guests — Chairman of the Grodno Regional Executive Committee Yuri Khadjimuradovich Karayev and Presidential Aide–Inspector for the Grodno Region Konstantin Viktorovich Burak — addressed all Grodno residents and people of the region with congratulatory speeches from the stage.

The factory’s top employees also joined the parade of Grodno’s labor collectives.
