Memory for the Future.
June 22, 2026, marks National Remembrance Day for the Victims of War and Genocide of the Belarusian People and the 85th anniversary of the tragic events when Nazi Germany invaded the Soviet Union without declaring war. Belarus was one of the first to bear the brunt of the enemy’s powerful attack, and the memory of the heroism and sacrifices of the war generation remains a vital part of national history.
Particular attention was paid to preserving the historical truth about the Great Patriotic War—a key factor in national unity—perpetuating the memory of the fallen, and preventing attempts to distort historical facts.
The team members were informed about the responsibility for violating drug control laws, and attention was paid to the inadmissibility of participating in the illegal drug trade. Examples from law enforcement practice were also provided.
