In anticipation of Defender of the Fatherland Day and the Armed Forces Day of the Republic of Belarus, a traditional shooting tournament for the prizes of the Chairman of the Grodno Regional Executive Committee was held at the sports shooting complex of the BFSSO “Dynamo.” Teams from law enforcement agencies, security services, the veterans council, the cadet school, and OJSC “Grodno Tobacco Factory “Neman” participated in the tournament. In total, 23 teams took part.

The OJSC “Grodno Tobacco Factory “Neman” team included: the head of the “Prival” recreation center, L.V. Khartovskaya, the instructor-methodologist for physical culture and mass events, E.A. Belomyzov, and the programmer-engineer, V.V. Avdeychik.

The opening ceremony was attended by: the Chairman of the Regional Executive Committee Vladimir Karanik, the President’s Assistant — Inspector for the Grodno region Yuri Karaev, the Chairman of the Belarusian Physical Culture and Sports Society “Dynamo” Dmitry Balaba, and the Deputy Chairman of the Grodno Regional Organization of the BFSSO “Dynamo” Evgeny Dudko.

According to the results of the shooting competition in three types of weapons: the service-issue Makarov pistol, the sports pneumatic pistol, and the small-caliber rifle, L.V. Khartovskaya, the head of the “Prival” recreation center, took 2nd place!
