On September 10, 2026, as part of the Unified Information Day, the following officials addressed the workforce of JSC Grodno Tobacco Factory “Neman”: Sergey Mikhailovich Krupitsa, Lieutenant Colonel of the Police and Head of the Juvenile Affairs Inspectorate Organization Department at the Grodno Regional Executive Committee’s Internal Affairs Directorate; Gennady Iosifovich Kozlovsky, Deputy General Director for Ideological Work and Social Affairs; and Sergey Slavomirovich Shmurey, Deputy General Director for Security, Regime, and Personnel.
National Unity Day is more than just a date on the calendar; it is a celebration of the present—something we are building with our own hands, here and now. It symbolizes the inviolability of borders and the ethnic cohesion of the Belarusian nation. Preserving peace and the country for future generations is of vital importance.
During the meeting, information was presented regarding the signs that young people are being drawn into the destructive activities of far-right groups. In recent years, the issue of extremism in the Republic of Belarus has become increasingly acute and relevant. This is particularly true within the youth community, where destructive manifestations are unpredictable, rapid, and especially dangerous.
The discussion also covered preparations for the heating season, maintaining order in residential areas, and the necessary actions to take if someone gets lost in the forest.
